    Currently serving as Taos County Commissioner with prior involvement in planning and developing the University of New Mexico (UNM) Klauer Campus in Taos. Former professor of history and local historian.

  • Tom Blankenhorn

    Tom received his law degree from the University of New Mexico (UNM) in 1995 and established a private practice in Taos. He served as Taos County Attorney (2003-2006) and later as a Taos County Commissioner (2012-2020).

    Paul is a Distinguished Professor of History Emeritus at the University of New Mexico (UNM), a former executive director of the Western History Association, and a past president of the Western Writers of America. He currently serves as interim curator of the Buffalo Bill Museums in Cody, WY.
